We have moved! South West Eventing is now based at Curdon Mill Farm, Lower Vellow near Williton, Taunton TA4 4LS. We will still be offering livery, training, competing and selling quality competition horses from this luxury new yard complete with brand new sand/rubber 60m by 30m arena, show jump and cross country field and the most fantastic hacking/canter work around the Quantocks. Whilst everyone knows the selling market was definitely slow last year, we have definitely starting to see signs that there are more buyers out there looking for their perfect horse. However todays buyers to expect to be able to fully trial horses pre purchase and are also reassurred if they can have an expert, unbiased assesment of a horse and its suitability for their needs. With a full show jump and cross country course we can provide unrivalled facilites and pride ourselves to match horses to the right people through giving an honest appraisel of each horse we offer to sell. November 2010

Isobel is having a week's break from October 30th to November 6th after a very busy season, but when she returns we do have limited spaces for full/part and selling livery. Also possible DIY livery boxes available. With competitions winding down this is a great time to send your horse for short term schooling both dressage and jumping as Isobel has plenty of time to work on any issues you may have. Flexible position and hours to suit. Applicants need to have experience and be confident to work on own initiative. All yard duties to a high standard, some riding if wanted, but not essential. Applicants need some experience with horses and must be atleast 16 years old. Would be useful to be able to drive/have own car or other transport, but not essential. Willingness to learn and hardworking nature also important. Reduced livery for own horse if needed and flexible terms. Accomodation available. December 2009 - Intensive Training livery available at £125/week

With the New Year around the corner, are you hampered by the short cold days and endless amount of mud to give your horse the proper preparation? Why not do it the easy way and for only £125/week have your horse professionally schooled daily by Isobel in a tailor made intensive program to work on weak/problem areas both dressage and jumping including cross country. This includes taking your horse to competitions if wanted (only diesel and competion entries are extra) and is reduced to £110/week for stays over 4 weeks. Excellent value for money and any length of stay accomodated. Any size from 13.2hh upwards and all levels welcome.
